Vermont Wayne I dont have any skin in the game for 993 values but gotta comment how beautiful your pale yellow car is. As a long time Porsche yellow guy having owned a number of 1987 Summer Yellow cars including one of the few 911s I truly enjoy seeing your car especially at Sebring.

A bump for this thread; I'm trying to update insurance policies. It's hard to track transaction prices for 993 supercups: I think most trade in Europe. I've seen US asking prices in the $3-400K range, but unknown whether they traded at that price. The last one I saw at auction was 3 years ago.
So any updated notions (preferably supported with results links) on Supercup valuations these days?
Thx

Edit: found this one from just last Jan: http://www.porsport.com/1996_993_supercup_car http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...-race-car.html
Edit: auction result ~ $350K US from last Jan http://www.coys.co.uk/cars/1996-porsche-993-cup
Edit: auction result, ~$350K US team mate car of mine: http://www.coys.co.uk/cars/1996-porsche-993-cup-3-8

Another bump; does anyone have any recent market data? I just did a full cosmetic restoration of my car, curious to keep insurance values current, has anyone seen auction results or other trades in last 12 mos?

Just discovered this datapoint in an article on the Vintage Racing League website which discusses the creep of what defines 'vintage,' to now include the '90's. In their listing of '90's factory racecars they link to this fully restored SuperCup, asking price $475K.
