Air Jack stands for sale...
I've got a set of the stackable stands. I'm planning to sell them but haven't done anything to research value. Happy to explore this with you if you're looking to buy a set.

I would be interested in a 997 set if anyone has a set as well.

I got mine from TRG about 3 years ago. Nice set, cost around $1700.
Scariest thing I've ever done with the Cup is to put it up on the second set of stands for increased height underneath. OMG! Was waiting for something bad to open as the right rear finally came up. It all worked as advertised, but I confess that it was a nerve-wracking experience watching those airjacks extend on the first set of stands!

Once you get the car up, it is perfectly stable on the double stands. But your observation of HOW the jacks operate is exactly the point. Front goes up first, followed by the right side and finally by the left side. It's that left side that is scary to watch..... you keep waiting for one of the stands to be canted at some ungodly angle and slide out!
What would be great is to have the system pressurize equally and deploy the jacks together. I'm sure there is some $10,000 valve used ONLY by pro teams to accomplish this, but that part is obviously out of reach for most of us mere mortals!
