I'm looking to see if anybody is going to the DE next week that will have support or a mechanic that is familiar with 996 Cup Cars. I'll be attending and it will be my first event with the 996 CC as I am trying to get as much seat time as I can before race season. Not necessarily looking for coaching but somebody who knows enough about them that can give me some guidance on the basics on the mechanicals and general trackside support for a CC. Thus far I've driven it around my neighborhood...

Rob hope you find some help out at VIR if I was going would be glad to assist as others did for me when I started with the Cup Car, be sure to visit my son Eric at event he is the owner of AWOL photo make sure he gets some pictures of you on the track.

Yea my younger son picture of us a few years ago when I was teaching him to drive an early 911 at Sebring he was not a bad driver but a better photographer
