Default Leak down test results

I was asked by a few people about a leak down test on the engine so I had Air Power Racing do the test this week, here are the results.
They also installed new plugs at the same time.

This car will be for sale till the end of February, if it doesn't sell, I'll keep it for another year and enjoy it.

Default No longer for sale

The market for 997.1 Cups seems to be a little soft at the moment, not sure why but because of that I've decided to keep my Cup car for another year.

I'm taking it off the market and will race it for the 2015 season.

My wallet trumps my ADD for once, that's not normal for me.....

Cheers

Not very surprising IMO. A friend of mine tried selling his Cup too 6 months ago. Had to let it go for a low price because it's really hard to sell.

The people (in Europe at least) racing these things all race 997.2 Cups. Identical running cost and the car is faster compared to the 997.1. For trackdays it's still a lot more expensive to run than a 996 Cup, because of the sequential box, so not a lot of amateur buyers there, and quite a few cars on the market.

Does yours have ABS?

No ABS, stock brakes all around. It took me awhile and a few sets of tires ($$$$) but I actually prefer non-ABS now.

You're right, but those few "gentlemen drivers" that buy these cars for track days over here all want ABS (and if possible the paddle shift system ...).

Learning how to properly drive a car is sooo nineties

I still have lots to learn so seat time vs. $30k for ABS & paddle shifters is a better option for me. I'm also to cheap to pay for such nice to have items.
