Hi,

Picked up a Durametric race system to be able to read data on my cup car.

I got it and downloaded the version 6 software. I had a heck of a time reading any data. It would not read, then loose connection...

On a whim, I downloaded the V5 software and it worked. no issues. I called Durametric and they gave me a list of things to go through with both the V5 and V6 software. They think that there is issues with the V6 software based on my results.

Then, I went and looked at another cup car today. Prospective purchase for a friend. The V5 would hook up and read with no issues just like on my car. But, it would not show certain data (that is would on mine) like max RPM memory and Engine Hours (even though ECU hours and total KM's worked just fine)

So, two questions.

Is anyone running the V6 of the software on a cup car with no issues

And,

Does anyone have the experience that it would not see certain data like I did with this car.

i bought a durametric enthusiast cable with v6. yesterday i tired to datalog and never could "establish" a connection. emailed durametric for any help, awaiting a reply

The unit worked great on my 2001 turbo with v6 software. It is just the cup and v6 that I am having an issue.

I've had the same results:
- 02 911 Turbo - works fine with V6
- 03 Cup - same result as 32Krazy - zero connection with V6

mine is a 2003 996 turbo and havent been able to establish a connection in 2 months. im ble to diagnose and erase codes but no datalog
