Wish I could make it out to Willow. Too long a trip for this weekend with other commitments I have end of this week and early next week. I'll also turn into an icicle at willow in December. I am taking the car to Chuckwalla though....

Hi, I noticed your car still seems to be fitted with monobloc gold BBS wheels which were mandatory at Le Mans back then.

Do you know if these monobloc BBS can be custom ordered in any size/offset, just like their E88 three-piece design ?

BBS will make you any of the monobloc wheels in whatever sizes/offsets you need. I am not sure if BBS still makes this exact model or not, but they make some similar ones.

Thanks Steve. It's very sweet for sure. Just hardly have any time to race it lately and it's a shame to just have it sit there.

Looking to move this car - just have not had time to race at all this year and it's a lot of capital sitting there.

1 weekend on wheel bearings, control arms
0 hours on full gearbox rebuild (new diff, bell housing, ring and pinion, plus the usual)
0 hours new clutch disks (a couple of weekends on complete clutch/flywheel, but just changed plates for drill with trans out).
~25 hours on motor
~15 hrs on new black axles repacked with NEO
0 hours on new fuel filters

From talking to Jim at PMNA back when we were first looking at the car - he said an endurance spec (3-ring piston) motor like we have should last ~60 hrs in a club race environment.

Cool thing about the motor in this car is it's got all the late big port RSR heads, cam boxes, and cams - so when it comes time to do the rebuild you don't need to replace that stuff and can easily go 3.8 sprint spec (well north of 500 hp) without any real additional up front cost over rebuilding it as an endurance spec.

Default 996 GT3 RS

Clay,
Any possibility that the GT3 RS is still available?
