Should I have protested this Black Radical?

The garage I run out of at Miller has had it happen a couple of times to cups, usually chunks of rubber hitting the loop. All loops are now still exposed but held in place by tape just in case...

He's so lucky Paul didn't collect him when he spun 3 times right in front of him. He would have run right thru/over that thing if he wasn't such an experienced racer.
Gotta love the self promotion. The only chronic pain I have is racing on the same track with one of those motorcycles. They're so low you can't see them in your mirrors until you turn-in and find one underneath you. They're a chronic pain in the ***....

Burning Brakes
/\ +1, we had another one race with us a couple years back, and inability to see them was the #1 complaint.
Boo Boo, sorry to hear about your electrical shut off.

Racer
ive raced with some radicals in my old 993 gt2 tube frame car, from what i remember the slow ones have 1100 kawasaki engines/with sequential gearboxes from the motorbike the engine came out of. the next one up had 1300 suzuki hayabusa, these could be bored out to 1500cc and with up to 250bhp. these could give me a good race. but the fastest ones which were to fast for me to catch had a v8 block with 2 hayabusa heads, so its a v8 bike engine from wat i could gather. they were 2600cc made from 370-460bhp and weighed 650kg. with a good driver the v8s are unbelievably fast!

Damn! Looks like I missed a lot of fun! Seems like whatever event I end up missing is when all the fast cars decide to show up. Someone send me a damn memo!
But I hate firebird in the rain, so don't regret that. Unfortunately have scheduling conflicts for the next several events. See you guys sometime in march probably.

Crazy, same thing happened to me POC cal speed this year. Second lap in, red race. Had to sit in the car no power, so no radio back to the crew etc. Had to be 100+ degrees in the car, watching everyone pass by...good times. Was happy to at least find out nothing wrong with the car, made it back out for Sun race
