Default TV Broadcast of my First Race in Porsche CUP Challenge Brazil

Hi guys,

Here is the TV broadcast of my first race in Porsche Cup Challenge Brazil ( sorry, it is in Portuguese...). My car is the plain white one in pole position. I had my first contact with a Cup car at that weekend and it all went perfect on my debut. Pole, best lap and win. I just ran this race in 2011 but for 2012 I'll run the whole season. I think my track time with my 996 GT3 and 997 GT3 RS helped a lot! I felt home immediately.

Here are the first laps from onboad:

Hope you enjoy.

Ipe

Nice driving! Seeing one rest his hand on the shifter makes me a bit nervous, you obviously know what you are doing

Well noted... Novice inexperience... After the race I was advised not to do that as it can damage some how the gearbox...

Cheers

did you win by more than 10+ seconds.. great maiden voyage in the cup..

996 and 997's make great training cars for a cup, much less than seeing others jump right into them from another platform.

Another example of why you need to qualify up front in cup races.

Other than the start, the racing was very nice and clean.

Great driving Ipe!

That flip at the beginning was scary, strange how much force there was. Even when the car did not appear to be going extremely fast in the video. Evidently the speed is very deceiving. Gostei do video!

Valeu!

This is a video of an onboard cam from a car behind the flip so you can understand better what happened there.

Nice driving IPE. Sorry to see the guy flip in the start.

I thought you'd be running same rules in Challenge as in Carrera Cup? (Standing start)
