Default New electric power steering pumps for sale

We have 2 new electric PS pumps for sale - $1350 shipped CONUS. We will ship outside the US also, inquire for cost.

These are new replacement Porsche Motorsport pumps for the 997 Cup cars but they were also used on 996 R, RS and RSR cars. The pumps come as shown with harness and fuse block.

These can be retrofitted into any car that has a power steering rack. Removing the ps pump and belt from your engine increases RWHP approximately 8-10hp. We are making RSR replica weld in mounts that will be available for ~$400.

Default BBS Center RSR?

Hi Mark,

I'm trying to get hold of a new BBS center, but do not really know what it could be.
My guess is that it's RSR but if it is aluminum or magnesium is unclear.

You may be able to read what it is?

Looking after one equivalent center.

I also look for electric power steering pump if you have something used?

You should post the power steering pump in the 997 GT3 forum as well assuming they'll work in the street car without throwing some type of code. Seems like an easy way to pick up some horsepower and shift a bit of weight from the rear to the front of the car.

Good point. Thanks. They should work on the street cars.

Here are pictures of the 996 RSR power steering pump mount. I cut this out of a wrecked 996 RSR to use as a pattern because they were never sold separate from a chassis. Over the next few weeks, we are going to have parts laser cut, bent and welded together to make these. The only change I'm making to the design is to add ears that come off the sides of the bottom to allow these to be bolted or riveted to the trunk floor. Of course, these can be welded into the front trunk like the RSR cars had, after the ears are cut off. All track cars should have these welded in. Obviously, the pump needs to be bolted to the mount (unlike what we are showing here).

They are going to be $400 + shipping for international buyers and $425 for CONUS customers. You can Paypal our e-mail address.

For an additional $300, we can provide a kit of Porsche Motorsport parts that come off the steering rack (rack plumbing, rubber disc the pump sits on and 2x rubber boots for the fire wall opening). You will still need to make up a female/female -6 braided line for the pressure side and a rubber hose with clamps for the return side.

I sent you a PM regarding the wheel. It's a spec Porsche E88 magnesium center. Based on the surfaces that engage the nut, it's was probably made for the GT1 cars.

Ok interesting ...
He who built the car said it was GT1 monobloc in the front, that this was also in the back was litte unexpected!

Unfortunately I have not got your PM for some reason ...

Can you please check if it has been sent properly?

or if you have the opportunity to send an email?

The part number on the centre says 0228 so it is a E28 centre which means magnesium.
