Default Centerlock size and torque spec

I have a 996 Cup coming. I need to know the size of the wheel lock nut and the torque spec.

Thanks,

Thanks,

I should have asked the first time: Do I need a deep well socket?

For a torque wrench or for your impact wrench? They're two different drives. I use a 1/2" drive impact wrench to tighten/loosen, and a 3/4" torque wrench to make 350 ft. lbs. 2 different 32mm sockets. I use a 2" extension on the torque wrench socket to clear the wheel. I don't think there's a deep enough 32mm x 3/4" socket to clear the rear wheels but I could be wrong....

That's what I needed to know. A "shallow" will tighten the nut with an impact and use an extension to torque the lug bolt.

Thanks

Hi folks,
topic resurrection

Just curious: I have a center lock kit on the 996 that supposedly uses 996 Cup hardware (and looks alike) however bolts are 37mm (both the shaft and wheels bolts). Notice says to use 350 lbs so consistent.. but 37mm?

thanks!

Torque spec is based on size of shaft and thread pitch not size of socket size to fit nut.

I have been told that 310 LBS / 420 Nm will do the job as good, and increase the lifespan of your drive shafts significantly. Racing with this amount now in my second season without any issues.

I got my TW at toolweb.com part number prec4d600f it is a split beam as they are 4' long they also carry the sockets you need to get a 3/4" drive 6 point deep impact 32MM socket with a 4" extension to clear the car and tires

So no idea where mine could come from? I have double checked and they are 36mm, not 37 to correct my previous error.

Anyone knows where 36mm CL come from?

Thanks!
