How many hours are on motor? Are rebuild hours any different from 997s?

Motor has about 15 hours on it. Recommended refresh interval is the same as the 997's (50 hours), but if you're not Pro Racing I don't see why you'd refresh it before 80-100 hours.

Thanks Mike tor the long response. GLWS!

I just have to look into costs, a shop to look after everything, and decide where I want to keep the car.

996 cups with any mods, like 3.8 engines, should be in GTA1 but usually run in GTC3 as nobody seems to care.

I can show you a video of a GTC3 car pulling away from my 450HP Grand Am 3.6 after the bus stop at Daytona. I was glad to see a bunch of them brought to the scruts after a session but they never checked displacement as far as I can tell.

Car is sold, thanks everyone for your interest. And my apologies to whoever races against this car in the future.. you're going to get destroyed. :-)

Mike,

Thanks for everything, it was a no BS sale, I like that. I'm hoping to get the car on track at Miller Motorsports Park sometime in April.

I'm not to sure about the destroyed comment, I have lots to learn before I'm up to your speed.

Cheers

Russ
