WTB 7 Cup
Looking to buy a 7 Cup. Considering 05-07 depending on hours. Would consider an 08 with good hours.
Please share your thoughts and opinions on the different 7 Cup cars.
I would prefer a car with 25 hrs give or take so I can use it at least for the season without a rebuild.
All experience appreciated.....
What Cup series do you guys race? Gold, WC, PCA etc.
What is the best series for a guy in California looking to run for the first time. B TW, I have the ability to get private track time and coaching prior to race...

I don't know much about Chris' (RSRracer) car outside of seeing him wheel the hell out of it on the track.... Chris is a great guy and I know he takes good care of his equipment.

Hello. My car is for sale. See classifieds. About 25-27 hrs on PMNA rebuilt engine. Runs well. Want to sell so I can get a 2010 or 11.
Please email me at cbrown at integrahealth dot com.
Thanks.

My car is also for sale. It has a few more hours (55-60) but the engine is rock solid and has never been rebuilt. I'd be happy to share leak down and compression numbers. It's in great condition and has many expensive upgrades like Sachs 4-way through rod dampers, Motec Pro Logging, front and back brake sensors, steering angle sensors, Motorola radio, Chasecam, electric helmet A/C (no ice), and lots of spares. Always professionally maintained by Kelly Moss and Alex Job Racing.

You don't need a car with 25 hours on it to run for a season, especially since your not pro racing (or even racing?) yet.
One more to add to the mass of cups for sale on my website below. It's cleaner and fresher and more factory original than the others, which are probably better for you if you are on a budget. If you are not on a budget, then you want an original '08 or '09, with a new or fresh transmission, and mine might be interesting.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for all the info and considerations.
I fully appreciate that many racers are pointing me toward the 6 cup cars.
However, one of my asperations aside from racing (I have to still work for a living) is that I have full corporate sponsorship from my own company. I can offset a great deal of my racing from my company. I want to have enough visability to get marketing for my sponsors.
So again, good idea to try to go for the 7 cup vs the 6 cup?
Good racing,
Chris (trader247)
