KIC 2 Wrong Identifier KIC not programmed for MODAS
Anyone had this and know of a workaround. A friend bought the KIC2 off ebay. on my advice under the mistaken belief all KIC 2 's are the same. I assume these are flashed with the propitiatory software for the car type(in this case modas) . Any help welcome. I am imagining that the KIC would need to be put in boot mode to do this and have the correct software to talk to the micro inside ?

SOLVED: sorted this out in the end. Turns out i forgot to place the seedMS file in the config folder. I have now managed to do this twice as i did the same thing whilst installing my MSA 11 box. So if you get the same error message you now know what to do.
