Default Exhaust on a 991.2 cup

I have a stock 2018 991.2 cup from Europe that I just got and it came with a center muffler.

Is there any performance increase by running the open (super cup) exhaust in lieu of running the center muffler?

Center muffler actually produces more power than the supercup pipes.

I've always been told Supercup exhaust produces an extra 5hp.

I have been told the opposite - from Cup's that have been on the dyno the rear center muffler/side bypass pipes produce the highest output. Supercup drops the power slightly (assuming drop in back pressure, but couldnt confirm this as have been told by a few shops that work with these regularly).

It's a PMNA question... because it all depends on which engine map is loaded in the ECU.

great point, I guess the only way to determine which map is loaded on my car is to have pmna plug into it at my next event.
