For the Porsche collector or racer.
One of the best original 996 cup cars, low mileage, low hours & completely original & remains as raced as it was in Carrera Cup. 3 sets of wheels, air lance with hose & regulator, air jack safety stands, wheel travel loops, owner’s manual, parts book, production data sheet from Porsche Motorsport Germany & CAMS logbook proving its provenance.

Original driver/owner: Jonathan Webb (Techno Autosports) Car number 22 in Australian Carrera Cup.

2004 996 GT3 Cup chassis No. 2 of 150 made in that year world wide, extremely original car & never raced outside of Carrera Cup. Professionally race by a big budget team in the Australian Carrera Cup for 2 years only, front running car finishing 6th in 2004 & 3rd in 2005.
Towards the end of 2005 everything was refurbished this included a rebuilt gearbox & new sealed engine not a rebuild but brand new engine from Porsche Motorsport with receipt provided, current leak down is 1%. No expense has ever been spared on this car.
After 2005 the car went into storage & was not driven much until November 2016. I have driven it at Porsche club track days & it performs flawlessly just as it did in Carrera Cup.
Traveled a total of 8500km's all documented. 121 total chassis hours. New engine & fresh gearbox have done approximately 18 hours.
Ready to race with near new slicks, new brake pads front & rear, new front rotors, nothing to spend just jump in & drive.

This is a genuine rare very well looked after original 2004 996 GT3 Cup in immaculate condition & has been used by Porsche Cars Australia as a display car recently showcasing Porsche motorsport history in Australia. https://www.carreracup.com.au/porsch...an-grand-prix/

Large history file with hundreds of photos from its Carrera Cup days.

Holy smokes... I just returned from a trip to Mel yesterday, would've loved to see this car in person!

An unmolested 6 Cup is unheard of these days. But if there's one, Australia's the logical source...

GLWS!!

You mean where you plug your can to usb in? My car has it in the passenger side vent. Maybe an ‘03 vs ‘04 thing?

Beautiful car James, hope it goes to a good home.

Thanks..

The data logging computer hardware is mounted in front of the shifter & the CAN plug is located just below the passenger side air vent, you can see it in the photo at the top of the page
