Default Porsche Motorsports tour

A few pics from a tour of Porsche Motorsports at PECLA. Porsche Owners Club banquet was held at the experience center. It was a great event. Notable points of the tour were the Gt3 Cup MRs being put together, and seeing whats involved in the kit. Also, seeing a 935 engine hooked up to the engine dyno. Oh, and the 917 engine block!

Picked up my car at Wright Motorsports a couple of weeks ago. They had just received a new GT3R the night before and were scrambling to prep it before heading to Sebring for testing the next morning. Didn't have my phone so couldn't get pics, but the interior of the car was way different from Cups...more like last year's RSR. It looks like an airplane cockpit, with everything oriented around the driver.

No longer 3 pedals....tech said the engine is lower and moved forward, but not as much as the RSR. Y'all may know all about this, but it was my first exposure to it. Very cool. Kicking myself for not getting pics.
