Default E88 Fitment - 10" front

Anyone with a 997.2 cup fenders and flares or gran am running 18x10 e88s on the front? Aside from possibly having to move the radiator brackets forward I wanted to see if anyone has issues with
fitting a 10" front wheel. Trying to make a decision if I go 18x10 or 18x9.5 on the front.

Thanks

You can do 10s no problem with E88s like you’re looking for. That’s what I run on a 996 with stock fenders. I’ve done various versions of 9.5s and 10s. With the 997cup flares you could easily do 10.5s...

Will this require me to adjust the steering stops as well? I'm looking at 2" outer, 8" inner and 0288274 center

Yep. These are 274s with 8/2. You will want steering angle limiters with any of the wider fitments. I think I have some that fit the OEM steering rack.

Bushings that install on the steering rack and slightly limit the steering angle of the rack on both sides.

We run the 8 and 2 combination on our cup cars with the 997.2 fenders. No steering limiters here. We just need to balance the way the front is aligned for camber and making sure the wheel is centered in the wheel well. (by camber alignment I mean how much shim on the control arm we use vs using the shock tower for adjustment.)

Thanks

Ed
