Clay we have tested the different Michelin compounds on my car and found the best to be S7 front with S8 rear for sprint races and S8 front with S9 rear for the enduros. The difference in the compounds front and rear seems to provide the best balance. At Road America a few weeks ago we used the "new" N2 and blistered the rears in 45 mins. Unfortunately the S7 is no longer available, so our best option now is the S8 front with S9 rear which seem to be readily available in the US.

I was out there in Group 7 as well in the #44 FLMS ex-Lemans RSR. We had some issues with the seat at the beginning of the weekend, so was only able to run two of the sessions, but it was still a lot of fun.

Awesome stuff Clay, as usual, you were wheelin' that thing!! Great to catch up with you for a bit at RR.
That event was spectacular to say the least and driving Alex Welch's RSR was simply amazing!!

Thanks James - good to see you again too. I was trying to keep up with you guys but I needed to find another 0.5 sec. Wish I had run the S8s on Sunday when I got a better start. Just couldn't get the front end to come in on Sunday for whatever reason.
