RSR Going Turbo?

It's high time that we ditch the "NA is better" line and focus on delivering results. Without significant BOP we are *simply not competitive* at the GTE and GT3 levels. The name of the racing game is not to romanticize but to win. A NA flat six simply won't get us there, so bring on turbochargers or hybrid drive or whatever gets us ahead!
To those guys who ask "what about LM2018? N24?" please first look into the highly unusual BOP governing those two particular events. Compare that to Porsche's track record in IMSA GT-LM and then SRO GT3. When you're done, you can come back and tell us why you think NA Flat Sixes are still competitive.
Porsche as a brand is built on racing. Fail that and we fail our very identity. Just think Alfa Romeo: used to stand for victories but lost their way as they kept drinking their romantic koolaid and forgot how to build proper cars.

Good points. As much as I prefer to drive NA, winning/staying relevant is the primary objective in racing. Besides, Porsche has a very strong provenance/heritage in winning races using turbocharged cars - 917/30, 934/5, 956/962, 911GT1, 919, etc.

Any guesses as to why they would want to run the exhaust(?) system up the sides of the car - possibly to avoid any effect on the rear wheel-area aero testing?
