Part numbers are 997.543.112.90/PC and 997.543.111.90/PC
Thanks!

Hey Guys - still looking for a pair of the rear cup quarters if anybody has any. The winter restoration of the original livery is underway and the car is back from the bodyshop. Thanks in advance!

Wondering if you cup car experts can offer any guidance on this. I have a street GT3 that is being converted to a track car (I wouldn't dare call it a cup car) and I'd like to replace my glass quarter windows with the cup lexan. Can you tell me if the glass windows can be removed from the outside, or do they all remove/install from the inside? Additionally, do the cup windows install with the standard window weather-stripping or is there a more special cup weather-stripping or bracketry for the lexan windows?
Appreciate any insight.

Better yet, just open the driver’s door of a cup car and you will instantly see that it’s nothing like a street car.

My car is a 991.1 R but I think the 991 Cups are the same. First the door is completely different. Your door is designed to have the glass captured in rails that allow it to slide up and down, none of this exists in a Porsche factory race car. Instead, my door has an inlay around the window about 1/2” wide, the Lexan window overlaps the inlay and is secured with about 8 little tricky bolts that quick release with a 90 degree twist.

My rear windows pop in and out with rubber holding plugs. This should be fairly easy to emulate on a street car. Give the Lexan window some overlap, place posts on the corners, and drill appropriate holes into the bodywork of the street car (pretty sure I would NOT want to be present to witness that).

for whatever its worth, in the classified section there is someone selling poly 1/4 windows and door windows. I think they were listed at the cost of shipping, so might already be gone.
Not vented but at that "price" I'd Dremel my own! ha
