Default Dual brake master 991 cup/Cayman clubsport

Is there any shortcuts to bleed the brakes on the 991 cup/Cayman clubsport with dual master cylinders? What I mean is, anyway you can do it just one person?
The calipers are lower than the masters, is it not possible to open one bleeder screw at a time an wait, without pushing the pedal?

Power Bleeder...... I have a Motive bleeder and bought an extra lid and you have a one person bleeder. Technically by the book it is a 3 person operation as when you bleed you should open a front and a rear at same time pressure is applied as the masters are linked.

So you connect the motive to both mc at the same time? What about the calipers one at a time or one and 1sec later the other?

Do you flip the brake balance to the rear and then front or leave it? Can't really See why I need an extra lid if I can do one mc at a time, or am I dumb😮😉

the extra lid is on the power bleeder as the hose runs through it to pressurize the cylinder and push the air bubbles and brake fluid out.

Ok, the ap canister is special size so you used a ap lid to build a new lid for the motive bleeder? Sorry for all the questions but I thought you ment you used the regular euro canister lid for the motive and got an extra so you could pressurize both at the same time. When you said one at a time I didnt get why to have an extra lid. 😉

Bob,
can you take a picture of the reservoir lid you made or explain it like you’d explain to my teenage daughter (LOL)? And which lid did you get from AP racing? Strange as I thought the brakes were a performance friction build.

just open the LEFT front and rear caliper bleed screw , inners first, close , then outer . push the pedal 4 four times to remove fluid. Then use a shower ROD that is adjustable and jam in onto the brake pedal to the floor and the seat. close bleed screws . repeat for right side. done. have 2 bottles with a clear line at each wheel to collect fluid and prevent air from entering back into caliper.

Won’t pumping brakes with bleeder screws open entrain air back into line?

OK, in regards to Bob's solution of getting extra caps to either make your own or send in to Motive, Mathew Volk at essex parts (matthew.volk@essexparts.com) can get anyone extra lids for the reservoir caps.
