Default FS: 2002 996 GT3RS - Needs to go!

2002 Porsche 996 GT3RS (VIN WP0ZZZ99Z2S692102). Vehicle was acquired new from Porsche Motorsport of North America to race in the Grand Am Rolex series. Vehicle was originally owned by Mark Greenberg and raced under his company name (NETTTS). The car was run by Peter Baron of Starworks Motorsports. Car sustained a heavy crash at Watkins Glen in 2005 and was retubbed. I have no records/pictures from this period and I'm told that Porsche does not either (they don't keep records from that far back - US and Germany). I bought it in 2006 and used it almost exclusively in Porsche Club of America Club Racing. Car has been upgraded over time and has a 3.8L 997 RSR engine, sequential gearbox, Moton 3-way shocks, Hollinger paddle shifter, Bosche Motorsport ABS, 2012 RSR rear wing, CF splitter. Engine has less than 14 hours on it. Gearbox just refreshed with 0 hours. Shocks rebuilt with 3 hours on them. Fresh and ready to race. Autometrics Motorsports has taken care of this car since late 2010 / early 2011. Last raced in the 2017 PCA Sebring Club Race. I am very motivated to sell. $99,000 or any reasonable offer.

Already have 2 race cars.... but 2 996 Rs seems like a bit much.

Anyone going to the test and tune next Tuesday? It's going to be a balmy 40 degrees...... hoping to see some fellow racers there.

I was drooling over this car a couple months back when I was over there looking for some parts. I wish I would have looked at the headlight setup. Trying to fit a oem front to my C2. Gorgeous car!

Bump and price drop to $95,000 or any reasonable offer. Car is at Autometrics facility in Charleston, SC. Not much for spares 2 or 3 sets of extra wheels and rear wing. There maybe some
other bits but small stuff if anything. Need to move to buy another car.

Any interest in selling just the spare wing?

Definitely a GT3. Likely German but perhaps not a P-car.
