Default spring rates

hey guys,

I have a 996 cup with all rsr suspension parts and JRZ 3 way suspension. I broke down the suspension last night to send out for rebuild and found I had #750 front and #1500 rear. to me that seems a little soft in front and heaving in the rear. car weights around #2,700 the car feels great on the track, but I'm thinking I might be leaving something on the table with the current setup. my home track was just repaved and very smooth.

Any insight to what others are running in regards to spring rate?

thanks

These are Cup's original springs. Multiply N/mm with 5,709 and you'll get lbs/in.

Try 1000 or 1200 up front and adjust handling via the dampers

On a 996 Cup up want the Rear springs about 10% greater rate than the fronts, If RSR bodywork you want to run same front and rear like 997s as a place to start
