Default Cosworth Electronics Training, VIR IMSA week

I’ve gotten the corporate approval to host a session for Cosworth Electronics training for interested drivers, teams and crew at my facility at VIR, likely during the week of the IMSA GT races in August.

Please spread the word and email me if you have an interest in attending. Like every other data system, familiarity and training can really leverage and make easier tasks many do with other systems now.

Toolbox, the ICD and the IPS32 are reliable, robust and powerful software and hardware. Learn how to use it.

This will be a rare opportunity to receive this training on the East Coast. Those of you with 991.1 and 991.2 GT3 Cup cars, shops and crews are welcome.

More details and costs soon.

Peter: Why not cast the net a little wider and do this as a webinar as well? There are a lot us with 991 Cups that won't be able to attend that event.

Steve asked the same question. I am investigating that now.

I have fiber internet at my facility and streaming capability, so will work on that.

Thanks, Peter

I'd like to attend if I don't have to work the NJMP PCA race, thanks for organizing an east coast session

take a look at like GotoMeeting, they have a free trial you could possibly use. or maybe one of the business guys on here has the subscription. folks can call in by phone and then you share your screen.
TeamShare is something we use, free but not sure the # of users limits.

I'd be in on the webinar. In my experience, gotomeeting is cheapest and easiest quality solution.

I may be at the IMSA event. If not then for sure I would be in on the Webinar. And will also throw in a plus for Gotomeeting.

Guys, I love you, but let me see how Cosworth wants to run it first. I've not yet been quoted a price for this, so it's early days.

It's only just been approved by the UK HQ to deploy human resources to my facility that week. This is a new thing for them.

If I can stream it, even pay per view, I'll look into that. It's unlikely that even if I can stream it pay per view, that it will be an interactive webinar.

The presentation is geared for a live, present audience and I have not yet broached the subject of webcasting or recording the seminar with them.

Jerry, would love to have you come. Matt, you too. Of course, all the 991 GT3 Cup, IMSA GT and LMP3 teams, crew and drivers who want to learn how to use this equipment, that's who it's for, primarily.

This sort of training is not readily available and glad to have gotten this started with them, hopefully to expand training opportunities beyond this single event.

+ 2 for the GoToMeeting format. I use it all the time with small and large groups. Biggest issue is keeping users muted and avoid background noise. Hope Cosworth allows this approach.

love all the effort and enthusiasm for this. great stuff.. but, if i may, why the need to use cosworth? i think your average user of the system could probably be taught by someone well experienced with thep roduct. not sure we have to go to the software company itself. would love something. august seems like a season. just my couple of two cents.

any updates on this? anyone able to put a training session online, via one of the online conference systems? you could charge a few bucks make a few bucks and gain some fanfare.

Really hope a webinar format can be provided and Cosworth supports Peter's efforts to expand the local knowledge of navigating the world of Cosworth.
