Referencing the 2001 cup,
Both motor and transmission work great.
Clutch is fresh and gearbox looked good when we did clutch. Has triple plate clutch.
Motor hours are unknown as it's the earlier ecu.
Leakdown across all 6 was all under 5%.
It was a custom build by Porsche Motorsport in February 2006 and features rsr heads,2 ring high compression pistons, custom ecu with 8800 rpm red line.
Car was given to Johannes father thomas after Johannes finished the speedvision series running the car under the flextronics livery. Car was supported and maintained by Flying Lizard(bunch of cool tricks) will list here as I have time. Thomas drove it in some club races, sold to Mike who raced in club stuff and de, sold to Russell who ran in club and de stuff. I bought it from Russell and ran it in one club race winning overall. I've driven it a few times at track DE sessions. I added the front flares and aero canards(made them adjustable so we could tune front downforce for differing tracks).Car runs 265 fronts and 315 rears now. Has RSR wing and front canard, extremely well balanced and quick. All tub seams are perfect and I can find no physical or historical evidence of accidents. It has a total of 10000 miles on chassis (100 hours) so motor has significantly under 100 hours. I will dig through documentation(as thick as a yellow pages) and see if I can get a clearer picture of hours on motor and will post here.
It has every record and includes piles of setup notes and tricks in them from Flying Lizard and G and W along with all records during Johannes and Thomas ownership including all original purchase documentation.
Provenance is clear and correct.
Will accept $54999 this weekend at the PCA DE where car can be seen and inspected. Includes 2 sets of wheels.
If someone wants a unique, historical 996 cup, this is a great one of a kind example.
In 2001 there were only 114 super cup cars made In the world....
