I have a set of 6 but 1 or 2 are slightly damaged with about 25 hours since reconditioning. I'm not sure of weight class. I'll be in the shop today and check.

i just looked at mine. Not sure how to tell weight class. They all have a V and a number like 208 or 220 stamped in one side of the big end. Half of them have an "A" and half have a "D" more crudely (looks by free hand) engraved in the opposite side of the big end....

Hi Clay,

Many thanks. What I am going to do is to weight mine as soon as I get a hand on them and will let you know. If you have the possibility to weight them accurately, I think it will be easier.

I will weight them without bearings, nor bolts.

Would you have a pic ?

Thanks for your help.

Sorry, I was out of town for a week. I can weigh mine but they have the bolts pressed in, not easy to remove. I will send a picture when I get a chance.

Hello,

Just to be more precise, here is what I am after (see pic for general idea. unfortunately, there is no part number on the rods, to be sure of what we are talking about.

In "E" weight class, the ones I have are in the 368-370 grams without anything (bolt, nut, bearing... only the bare two parts conrod)

@Jim : Thanks ;-) These are 3.6 996/997 cup engine rods, not RS one, they are not constructed to same way, and are heavier. Happy you brought these calipers to life so quickly ;-)

996 RS conrods

Many thanks for everyone's kind help ! I am getting close ! ;-)
