Default What is the going discount on a Cayman S?

I am looking to check out the Cayman S since my gt3 was stolen at the red rock casino last week - what is the expect discount I should be looking at?

Thanks,
Greg

In April this year bought an 08 new $12K off of sticker. Any left over 08 Cayman S's still around should be discounted far more. After CS destroyed in accident 25 days later checked out other left over CSs and found while they were more richly optioned cars the discounts were in the $20K range. Could be more now. Heck one might even be able to swing a good deal on an 09 Cayman S. Word is dealers have plenty so much so Porsche is rumored to hold off the 2010's to give dealers a month or two to move 09's before '10's arrive.

Get on www.autotrader.com and search new/used Caymans MY 2008 and see what turns up. Go out any distance you want. I search entire country.

Or search out Porsche dealers in major metro area near you and visit their web sites for used/new inventory and *specials*.

I think you'll find some great deals.

Oh, I didn't replace Cayman S with another, even though CS was a great car. I found a nice 03 Turbo. There's always alternatives.

Happy shopping!

Oh, how'd you come out on the car theft? Sounds like a horrible experience.

Sincerely,

Macster.

Depends on the exact car you're looking for. The Launch cars can ge had at steep discounts. We still have a DE1 08 Cayman S which I cant even give away which would be a heck of a buy.
