Default Potential new cayman owner... Advice needed

Hi guys... Im considering joining the Cayman herd (or is it a congregation.)... Other than IMS bearing, are there any other gotchas I need to look out for?

I DE/Raced a G class 993 for the last 14 years. Now considering building a Spec Cayman (987.1 based). I have a few cars I'm looking at. Is there anything unique to these cars (other than IMS) that I should be looking out for?

Add a few bucks to your budget and save yourself the aggravation of the many engine mods of the .1 and get a .2 car with the DFI 9A1 motor if you can swing it.

Ya I've heard the .2 is a better car, unfortunately the rules dictate a .1...

I know CTS is working on a dry sump for these cars, but I'm hearing it is going to be a very expensive upgrade.

I'm planning on deep sump, 997 swirl pots, Motorsports AOS, and possibly an accusump. With data to directly log oil pressure..

How about the rest of the car any suspension or electronics anomolies that you see cropping up?
