guys, I know this is a dumbass question but I good lord, I need some help.

I bought an 07 base, needed a lot of work, I have to back to her glory days but I have 0431 code and I know it really does not affect anything but I hate that stupid light.

I have read which bank is which and it seems like people get all confused. I replaced, with a new 02, the rear on the PASS side (like the bank behind the pass seat) code stayed off for a few days came back on.

I researched a little more and then is looked like bank 2 is the DRIVER side, so, I took the rear 02 I removed the pass side and put it in the DRIVER side (so NEW 02 in the PASS side, PASS side in the driver side)

cleared the code, stayed off for a few days but it came back

ok, so I need a cat, not a big deal, I can do it myself.

WHAT SIDE??????????




PS, I live in GA, USA, so, that is how I am referencing pass and driver sides

When looking at the pulley end of the engine, bank 1 is on the left, bank 2 is on the right. So, in our Cayman, bank 1 is passenger side and bank 2 is driver side.
