Default First Porsche Purchase

Hello All,

I am new to the forum and about to make my first Porsche purchase. After much research I have decided to go with the Cayman S, however, I am stuck deciding which year to purchase. There are some great deals out there prior to 2009 with low milage.

Seeking some opinions, thanks in advance!

Let's start with the most obvious question: budget?

50k is my budget, currently looking at a used 09 manual with 47k miles on it. Test driving tomorrow

The Cayman S engine was significantly upgraded in 2009.
With your budget, I'd stick with 2009 or newer. Should be able to find a real nice one in that price range!

Yeah, I have read about the S engine upgrade beginning in 2009. I'm looking forward to the test drive. Also, I like to squeeze as much as I can out of dealers without spending to much . The 09 I'm looking at is going for 37k.
