Default 3D scanning Cayman S - what would you do?

Hi! New member here....here is my question/intro:

I do not own a Porsche, but my sister-in-law just came into ownership of a 2012 Cayman S Black Edition with 60 miles on it. She loves the car, obviously!

I own/run a 3D printing company, and one of the tools I have is a very high quality 3D scanner. I would be able to scan any part of the car, and then the 3D model could be used to create "something else" that could match up/fit/improve the car.

Here is my question: what would you create if you had a 3D scan of a specific part of the car?

I enjoy 3D scanning and CAD work, but since I do not have that model, and she is very new to the car, I thought I would ask the community to see what you all would create if you had the ability to. Thanks!

Apologies, here is a link to my BMW 128i cup holder I scanned for a friend..he wanted it to not hold a cup but to fit his cell phone, so I modeled an insert for it:

Hello,

Since I haven't seen anything done for the 981 Cayman yet, I'm going to attempt to design my own clear cover. After removing ... I heard engine heat and excessive level of noise could be an issue, do you have a plan to address?

For the 987 cayman it would be nice to have a spar minus the flood light. I tried and tried to model one but could never get the curve right. A 3D scan would be awesome..

If you are interested in doing one I could send you the spar to scan

I have not contacted him for quite some time, but I'm sure that he is still in business. PM to me, if you are interested, I can contact him, or you can email him directly. Regards.

I'd second this. I'd like the light gone and most of the plastic removed to allow more airflow whole still having a finished looking opening.

I know this is a GT4 and not an S but how about the side intake scoops? Getting them close to OEM quality without the “GT4” imprint would be great and I would think there would be a market of buyers interested. Just a thought..
