Hi folks, does anyone on here know if the throttle body from a 3.8 9A1 (991) would fit on a 2.7 9A1 (981) and, if so would it offer any performance advantage? I have a spare throttle body from a 3.8 and wanted to see if i could use it on my 981 Cayman base. Also asked this question in 981 forum. Any response is appreciated, thank you!

I think it probably would. However, without the ancillaries such as a larger plenum, headers and a good tune it would probably be counterproductive.
