"Warning Battery/generator" warning light?
Had this warning light today while we were driving. Driving down the road, heard some weird noise, then the warning light came on for a second and then went away. No problems since? Any ideas what to check?

you may wanna look at the drive belt and the feel of all pulley bearings, put a volt meter on it just to confirm its charging. if it is an alternator/water pump/idler i would guess it will happen again and be worse

Thanks!
Car only has 31,000 miles on it. Made the noise, got the brief warning light, then no other problems. Finished drive to the store, drove it home, then the wife took it shopping with no problems?
Placed it on the charger last night and when I hooked it up it was saying 95% charged.
Just inspected the belt and all looks good?

Battery says Sep 2016.
We just picked the car up in January so have no idea about the belt history.
Took off the cover and inspected the belt with a bright light very carefully. Everything looked good, checked the alternator and other accessories, everything looked good, not that I really know what I am looking for, but no drips or anything. Buttoned it back up and then took it for a 10 mile trip up and back on the expressway to warm up the oil to check the level. Turning around to come back, while idling at a light heard a few weird noises from the engine but no warning lights or anything else. Drove home, checked the oil, no other problems.
Will take it to my indy shop to have them look at everything.
