And this is why Planet-9 exists.
Porsch2018: I'm going to assume you weren't just bait fishing a 911 forum and that you accidentally posted here rather than to the 718 forum. (https://rennlist.com/forums/987-981-718-forum-125/)
Go to http://www.planet-9.com - that's where Boxster and Cayman owners congregated after they were run off of Rennlist.

I have one (981 Cayman) and am starting to look for the other (991.1 or .2 911).. Either way, congrats OP hope you enjoy your car when it arrives!

OT - I haven't been active in Rennlist until a couple of years ago. How come there is a 987- 718 forum and also a separate one for Cayman? Shouldn't the GT4 be in the Cayman forum? There must be some kind of history judging by some of the replies

Thanks for the well wishes....have reposted this thread on the Cayman forum.... My experience...I test drove a 2016 base Cayman with MT and one with PDK, a 2014 Cayman S with PDK, a 2017 base Cayman and Cayman S both with PDK and a 2017 Carrera 911 with PDK. I was initially leaning toward the base Cayman but was prepared to go the 120K for the 2017 911 Carrera but on the day I test drove the 2017 Cayman S, and 911......the car that was the most fun to drive, hands down, was the 2017 Cayman S with PDK. So I decided since we are on the verge of a year change to order the 2018 Cayman S. What I hate is the depreciation for a new purchase.....probably going to be around 40% or more in the first couple of years.
