Default Headers at a sound restricted track - any data?

Has anyone successfully passed the sound check with aftermarket headers?

If so, what brand? Cats or not? Stock exhaust or aftermarket? What sound level?

I'm considering adding catless headers to my Cayman R, keeping the stock PSE. The car also has an IPD plenum and 82mm throttle body.

Any data would be appreciated!

Sounds dicey, but i'd like to hear any answers on this as well. I was considering sport cats with stock exhaust. No cats plus PSE just send like it would be off the charts.

I routinely run Fabspeed Headers (no cats) and the stock exhaust at Lime Rock Park without any issues.

Hey Guys,

I was running our Race Header with PSE on my Cayman R for some time, and the sound level never put me worrying for DB restrictions. I actually have a fellow with a GT4 running our Race Headers, Maxflo Exhaust, and Turn Down Tips and passed Limerock by 2DB. If he can pass then I have no doubt our Race Header/Factory Exhaust would pass.

PM heading to guys, would love to have you join the Fabspeed community
