Default x73 Sway Bar

Just ordered an x73 rear sway bar (981-333-703-15) for my 2014 981S. Do I need new or different bushings when I install it?

I just reused my existing ones on the new bar. Diameters are the same, so no problems there.

The only difference that I'm aware of is X73 bars are solid while the others are hollow.

I ordered p/n 981-333-703-15. I see there is also a 981-333-703-14 listed under X73 rear bars. Anybody know the difference between these?

I thought the 14 was the stock bar

Handy chart. Rear swaybars vary more than one might think:

I have that matrix. To bad part numbers weren't included.

Part numbers are easily enough to look up. The X73 rear bar sway bar bushing was a different part number than the OE one on my Cayman S. So, I ordered both the sway bar and the bushings from the dealer.

Did you order the 981-333-703-15 bar and if so what was the part number of the appropriate bushing. I was led to believe the bushings are the same since the diameter of the X73 bar is the same as the regular bar but it's solid rather than hollow.

Thanks . . .

I used 34 & 17 ft lbs for the drop link and bushing holder respectively.
