Looking at Purchasing a 987 S in Plano, Texas - Help with PPI?
Hi Everyone,
I'm looking at getting into an 06 Cayman S, since my current car (a 2016 BRZ) may be totaled. I've found the one I want, and am having the dealer hold it for me. Although I want to purchase the car, I am in Atlanta and would not have the ability to go out there and check it out. I'd be purchasing the car and having it shipped to MA once the transaction is completed, or driving it from Plano to MA.
I'd like to have a PPI done for it, and was wondering if any members here would know of a shop that could do one. The dealership has provided me a clean preliminary inspection, but it's not very in depth. I'd also like to ask if someone could go out there and drive the car to the PPI shop, and back. I'd be happy to provide some level of compensation if needed. Thanks for your time in reading this, I appreciate it!

You might try RAC performance formerly called RUF. They are very knowledgeable on Porsches. I take my 993 4S there for service all the time. Ask for Hans who is the Service Manager. There is also Porsche Plano. Not sure if that is where you are buying it.

Call RAC or Autoscope and pay them to go and pick the car up for a PPI.
