The always incredible Cayman comes right out of the box ready for action. The GTS model does so with even more emphasis on spirited driving. The owner of this Cayman GTS decided she wanted a bit more, but not in a way that would sacrifice comfort and drivability. The task of spicing up the driving experience was combined with the aesthetic goals, which included an overall stance and feel of a meaner, more serious Cayman GTS, without straying too far from the original look and design.

The best way to accomplish both goals? The good ol’ “wheels and a drop”, but with sophistication.

In enters one of the highest regarded suspension companies, Bilstein, and their absolutely awesome Damptronic suspension system, which serves as a direct replacement for Porsches equipped with PASM. This gives us the ability to dial in ride height to the preference of the client, while maintaining the “Comfort” and “Sport” settings of the impressive PASM already equipped.

The Bilstein Damptronic system is a alternative for those looking to lower their cars, but would rather not lose out on the adjustable dampening of the PASM.

After settling our choice with the Bilstein Damptronic system, next up were the wheels. Another great choice are the FlowForm FF15’s from HRE Wheels. The FlowForm FF15’s are a flow formed wheel, which is a far more advanced and improved method of wheel making than casting. Flow formed wheels ensure a much stronger structure that cast wheels, with emphasis on being lighter as well. The Tarmac Finish is a solid choice, bringing aggressiveness to the table with a classic style.

To give this GTS a bit more bark, BMC Filters combined with a GIAC ECU Upgrade are the perfect combination of power and reliability, with gains in the mid-range that can be felt throughout.

We love how this Cayman came out, with just a few modifications.

And now, time for some photos! Enjoy!
