does anybody have any experience integrating a Dension Dual FOT iPod interface with PCM 2.1 in a Cayman S?

I'd like to retain my CD changer functionality whilst adding an iPod, and the Dension website indicates that this can be done with a dual FOT device.

But it not sure how this would work???

Dows the iPod become a 2nd 'cd changer'?
Do I need to do any coding?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated

It's been a while, but with the dual Dension, the fiber optic loop went from CD changer to Denison and was in line. Anything on the loop can be addressed, controlled. I didn't need to have any recoding done on my 987.1. Worked pretty much right away.
Hardest part was getting the iPod cable into the cabin. I went in near the brake master through a rubber plug that I sliced.
