Short Video of Hartech (Europes top Porsche engine re-manufacturer)
For anyone interested in looking at a 10 minute video briefly showing the engine re-manufacturing work we do for the M96 and M97 engine range at Hartech in the UK - they can log into our web site (www.hartech.org) and click on the link - but for a higher definition version suitable for large televisions and screens - we will be happy to post our high definition USB stick FOC - to any Porsche specialists interested.
Also our "Buyers Guide" sections 4 and 5 (on the web site) provides detailed explanations about the problems and solutions for these engines - photos etc. It is unfortunately mostly 10 years old with few updates but still relevant and accurate in its diagnosis and predictions. It is also a long read and a new much shorter version is almost completed that adds "click on" links to more detailed technical coverage, photos and more technical video reproductions - to enable a speed read or the option of more involved coverage for those more deeply interested.
We hope to have this on line by the new year with the video clips added during 2016.
There are more products being currently developed and a system to provide exchange cylinder blocks for export with modified IMS (with larger bearings), matched piston sets and even valved racing sumps etc.
Eventually (after a satisfactory introductory period) we will consider allowing suitable specialists to become re-manufacturing centres abroad (after vetting and training them and their selected machining shop sub-contractors and signing confidentiality agreements etc to enable re-manufacturing of the cylinder blocks with our Nijasil plated high silicon alloy top hat liners that we have successfully made and supplied over 2000 of in the UK and Europe in the last few years).
