WTB: 2008 Cayman S Sport Tiptronic

Hello!

I am looking for a 2008 Porsche Cayman S Sport Tiptronic (torn rotator cuff

- can't shift anymore). I am located outside of Atlanta, GA and am a serious cash buyer. (Not interested in any Red or Yellow cars - Thanks!)

Hi BoxsterMike,
Have you considered a 2009+ Cayman (either S or base)?
They are available with the PDK trans, and I believe you might find more '09+ Caymans with the PDK (as a percentage) than '06-'08 with Tiptronic.
Though there is nothing wrong with the Tiptronic trans, the PDK is better.
I'm just throwing that out there in case you hadn't considered it. Either way you cant go wrong.

Thanks guys...I agree with you both, but I just REALLY like the 2008 Cayman S Sport Limited Editions. I thought a had a deal wrapped up for a black one in Florida last month, but the guy sold it out from under me at the last minute

(and now I'm obsessed with finding another one!)

There is a 2008 sport design edition 1 with tip on ebay right now. I'm not sure how much different the Sport is to the design edition.

I looked into that one. The car is alot rougher than the ebay pics portray. Plus, it has reported accident damage in the CarFax, no books, no manuals, no service records, and only one key. Definitely not worth the full pristine retail price they are asking.

Finding plenty of 6-speeds for sale the past few months, but no Tiptronics....anybody have or know of an '08 CSS Tip for sale? Happy Holidays Everyone!
