It WAS you! I came and spoke to you at the end of the day. You were finishing putting it on the trailer and there was another Cayman R parked next to you but I can't remember the color (your's is all I recall). I went around over the weekend trying to meet all the other C-R owners - just cause it's nice to compare notes.

I am with ARPCA but I instruct with Niagara Region also - so I was at the Glen twice in May. Niagara is usually there again in Oct over Columbus Day but of course won't be this year due to re-paving. The Oct event is a blast and if you've never been to a Niagara Region event they are superbly organized and a great bunch of folks (just like ARPCA).

I was the other guy next to the guy putting the CR on the trailer. Funny!

I had another twin at Pocono NNJR these last two days. Only difference was that his CR was Midnight Blue and 6 speed, mine is Aqua Blue Metallic PDK.

EDIT: OT (sorry to OP)
Okay - NOW I remember. I guess I was so dazzled by the presence of the Aqua Blue that it blurred everything else. It really is a stunning color and I've seen so few.

At future track events I will try to get C-R's together for a photo op. Would be nice to see all the colors together!
Here's me and a "twin" at PittRace a few weeks ago (mine has black wheels):

Default Cayman R Registry

Thanks for the data, This is a early manufactured car judging by the Vin Number. Was it manufactured in Finland (CU before the 79xxxxx serial number) or German manufactured(CS)?

@Redline: Your car could be the sibling to mine, you have a clubsport roll cage, too. Do you still have the original seats, how have you dealt with the side airbags (I restricted the movement of the seat to the back, but disabling airbags would be the other way to deal with this...)? Any other changes? Suspect GT3 control arms for the front

Here a recent pic of my car at Bilster Berg's Mausefalle section:
