Default Scissor lift access to engine on cayman

Any one own a scissor lift that services their cayman? I was planning on installing a full rise scissor lift for work on my 911 but would like to get a cayman for DEs in the next year or so. Curious if the scissor lift is a really bad idea for a mid engine car. The lift platforms would be 31" apart.

You can access the engine on scissor lifts with Caymans. There's been at least 1 person who dropped his Cayman S engine on a scissor lift at home.

FWIW, I changed the water pump in my CS using a Norco scissors lift. I got my MaxJax in about a week later, would have been easier, but it's doable with the scissors.
