BBS 19" Monoblock in 5lug Group buy will fit GT4!
Hi Guys,
For the GT4, I've been doing a bit of research. Stock wheels are 20x8.5 ET50 and 20x11 ET50. I did some quick math and we can get a 19x12 ET48 to fit. would be 3mm closer to the suspension and stick out about 7mm more than the current setup, can do 19x9 ET50 as well (5mm closer to suspension and 5mm sticking out than stock with a 255 on it). This would allow you to run 305 rubber on the back and 255/265 on the front depending on setup.
This allows you to piggyback on the GT3 groupbuy we already have going. You would want set C !

After discussions with BBS, we have some traction, we need at least 5 sets combined of the possible combinations below:
All below are $7750 Rennlist price. These should be much much closer to $10k, but the BBS motorsports guys think we're on to something and if we can help them cover the costs of the drawings and forgings, it gives them another option for the 997's...
Set Options. Colors are Motorsport Silver (as the picture above) or Gloss black. (Polished or custom colors available for $600/set). Weight of the 19" centerlock wheels are 17.9lbs for 9" front and 21.7lbs 12" rear. 9.5" aren't made yet and 5 lug will add a little weight to them.
Also the 9" ET 50 will not have much "curvature" to them. The 9.5" ET 42 will have curvature to them. If you have a regular fender car, we think the .2 fender extensions are enough to cover the 9.5" width wheels, but don't know for sure.

Burning Brakes
I suspect that not too many members are going to pony up almost $8K when the luckiest ones won't see their cars until the fall. I'm still hoping for an allocation and will probably be in the market for track wheels next spring. Hopefully it's not too late by then.
