Free Build sheet from Vin#
I use this site and it is free, it works for 1995 and newer Porsche.
Just put in your vin# and your build sheet options are listed along with cost.
435,471 Porsche Vin numbers on record.

This is very handy. A dealer just sent me a "we think this car will fit your needs" email, but their inventory page had no details I could find on its options. This managed to find the full build information.
(The car doesn't fit our needs, not only is it the wrong colour, we're not sure what we want, but we do know its not a beige interior. It has PASM not sport suspension, no sports chrono, wrong seats and no sport design steering wheel.)

Try this link, putting in your own VIN.
http://admin.porschedealer.com/reports/build_sheets/details.php?vin=WP1AD29P29LA60375
Remember, VINs are all upper case...

Substitution of the VIN as a parameter in the URL still works. However, has anyone else noticed the interesting results you can get?
For example, here is a car found via Porsche's pre-owned search tool:
http://ucl.porsche.de/ucl/plsql/usa/...&pnr_=1&lnr_=2
If you grab the VIN number and paste it into the VIN lookup tool:
http://admin.porschedealer.com/repor...AA2A85EK171517
You will see the options agree exactly with the used car options listed. But look at the prices.
From the VIN tool: 53,550.00
From the ad: 54,500
And the car has a 1000 miles on it.
Interesting. I found a few cars priced this way.
