Default Cayman 3.8L mod possibilities?

As i still ponder the idea i was wondering the following.

What DFI carrera engine would be best (in terms of price and power) for a swap in a 2009-2012 cayman? Would it be a 997.2 carrera engine or the 991 carrera engine?

What cayman is the better car for the swap for either motor? the 2009-2012 or the 2013?
pros/cons?

For 2009-2012, the best choice would be a 408 hp GTS motor, but they are hard to find. Otherwise, the 997.2 "S" motor at 385 hp works well. For a 2013, use the 991 "S" motor (400 hp).

The swap is relatively straight forward for either car. Pretty much the same. BGB Motorsports has done a bunch. Takes about 30 hours of labor plus engine plus various small parts.

Or I'l just build your current engine to my 4.2 :-)

Cayman X is coming, within the next two issues of Panorama it will be debuted.

Steve, You could ship your Cayman R on over this winter for a 4.2 while you play with your new Raby Big Bore, Boxster engine. :-)

I don't think it will happen that quickly - the RS needs some TLC, first. But it is on my horizon. =)
Thanks for everything on Kathy's car!
