Default Cayman sport chassis/limited slip option

Any idea when Porsche will offer these options for the new Cayman S? I am trying to wait for the sport suspension and true limited slip. That would make this car even better for the track. I hope they offer these options soon or a Cayman R.

I don't know why the sports suspension isn't available, already.

I doubt that Porsche will offer a 'decent' LSD, as they haven't done so in any of their recent cars.
I wouldn't pay extra money for a Porsche-sourced one. If it comes with the model you buy, use it until it dies or it is convenient to install a Guard.

I swapped my CR's LSD for a Guard and I cannot adequately describe the difference it made.

Guard LSD is the way to go. Give them a call and just ask your questions, good people.

PTV contains an LSD. PTV is a system that combines the previous usage of brakes as traction control with a mechanical LSD. Porsche is not going to offer a separate M220 LSD option like they used to. Everything is in packages these days. If you want an LSD, you get Sport Chrono with PTV. That's your LSD option.

Now as for the effectiveness of that LSD, that's another discussion...

Regards,

Matt
