Launch car
It is listed on the printout that I got from the dealer showing all the options on the car and this is listed as:
M-numbers MNR Description 342 Heated seats 448 Colored Wheel Caps 490 Sound Package Plus 573 Automatic Climate Control 692 Remote CD Changer 762 Launch car I can't figure what that could mean. Any thoiughts?? Thanks :bigbye: |
The launch cars were the first cars of that model brought into the dealership network for demo/sale. They had a specific package and color schemes if I remember correctly. I don't remember what the package combination is though.

That's correct. When they release new models they generally ship "Launch Cars" to the dealers. They are all optioned the same. For example, the 2005 997 S launch cars were all Black/Black with PCCB.
