I've had a lot of that. Maybe I am crazy.
But, I've had the car 10 great years and yes, there are a lot of fond memories but variety is the spice of life. I must be a lousy salesman because I haven't gotten that many inquiries about the car even though I think it is a fine example, with the updated suspension I installed, the nice colour and I also had the top end of the engine rebuilt around 10K kms ago.

I would love to keep the car but my practical side says no. We have a single car garage and we already own three vehicles. I also don't use a vehicle for commuting, as I am able to walk to the train station.

Maybe it is a sign of age but looking for a bit more of a modern vehicle (still going with a 6-spd though) but it would be nice to plug my iPod into the stereo, have a more civilized climate control, and the driving characteristics of a mid-engine vehicle have me intrigued.

Or standard 20" wheels. Or less than 350hp.
My Cayman R keeps looking better and better.

If the new 911 is numerically the 991 and the new Boxster is a 981 what is the number for the new Cayman?

I would assume it will be called the 981C like the Cayman was listed as in PET, etc. as the 987C. The Boxster however was not referred to as the 987C but instead as the 987.

Over.

That would be my assumption, but a while back I read a quote from a Porsche official who referred to the new Cayman as the type 982.

I guess we will know soon enough.

Cheers,
