Default 997 gauges in a cayman?

Has anyone here put 997 gauges in a cayman? I am thinking of buying one but would like more information than the three gauges provide and seems a natural upgrade to me -- if it is possible to do. Of course, anything is possible, but I mean reasonably without too much work or expense. Thoughts?

If you're referring to the gauge cluster (997 with two add'l gauges)... it's not a direct replacement into the 987's. Plus, the 987's do not have oil pressure sender... So, it's not going to be cheap - you'll likely need to customize the console (or fit the 997 console into the 987) and more plumbing work.

You'll also need a new upper dash as 987 upper dash opening isn't large enough to house the 5 gauge cluster.

I believe there is a RUF 987 with a 997 dash/cluster.

I've considered this swap myself, but don't have the resources to be a pioneer.
